Dibbed with quotations. --Jcowan 15:10, 27 Feb 2005 (EST)

Godfroi Hasawithe, through Gweddil Fluffett, also owns cash-rich companies like TransAvian and DasMineGold. These companies are a source of funds that he then allocates to Gweddil Fluffett and uses to acquire new companies.

After enthralling Edlunch with stories of Freege Horns (thus explaining the dew-like twinkles of music that filtered up from the Evesque Valley the mountain looked down upon), no end could be found to the boy's incessant desire to view and hear one up close. After a few months with some disgruntled TransAvian carriers, Sarfl finally pulled the favors he needed, and convinced Rater Goldfish to haul his equipment up the mount for a one-of-a-kind performance.

Besides "avian spearing", in which rocks ("3 for an Ooo!") are thrown at flying birds (of the same species as TransAvian) in hopes of them falling and being impaled on the top of a Rich Earth Cactus ("Feeling bad for what you've done? Try Crank, Jr.'s Happy Tonic, guarenteed to grow not only hair, but smiles!"), the Rich Earth Cactus currently serve no economic importance. There may be some measure of truth to the rumors that cactus poison has been used in some assassin attempts, but we've yet to find anyone willing to step forward with their Bill of Sale.

Back then, the pachyderm couriers were still trying to convince concerned citizens there was no danger in using the wrinkled beasts, despite what rival TransAvian would have you believe.

These days, DermPachyges is the undisputed leader in freight and postage, as well as being responsible for the maintenance of most of the important roads, with the exception of the Cataract Road. Their only serious competitor to their supremacy is the company TransAvian... however, they tend to be limited to packages weighing less than a coconut.

Nest construction has many regional styles, though the advent of rapid communication and transportation (via DermPachyges and TransAvian, among other organizations) have mixed these up somewhat.
