Preface

This subjuct is a difficult one for most Ghyllians as it deals with a several terrible and uncomfortable times in our history. This researcher has had to seek permission from the Hive-Lords to proceed in his studies on this matter as it reveals several items of information that had been previously suppressed.

Random Bits

While the Raking has destroyed almost all of the cultural remains (of the Looliers), a few items held in personal collections or stolen by other cultures remain.

Since the removal of the Stones to Stindersgrough by Corvin Axehand in –158 EC, and the subsequent iconoclastic Raking, the precise location of the Battle has been contested, yet the story is told in every nursery on Ghyll.

Scholars disagree about whether the Raking can properly be considered part of the Conflict. However, there is no question that some of its consequences deeply affected later participants in the Conflict, to the point where it must certainly be accounted a secondary cause of the Conflict's later phases.
