It's pretty decent. The first CD I had gotten of theirs. Mostly, I just get music off the internet now, but this was one of my latest purchases. . . . : ; The "3PM-AFTER-NOON" Notice That's the name of the CD I made filled with music I have gotten off the internet. The method to my madness lies within the name. It's pretty simple to figure out too. . . . : ; ANNOUNCEMENTS and whoo dog, i need to take a shower COLLECTED WORKS: was updated this week with new two new Ben Ohmart routines (Mary Payson in the Case of the Silly Sod, and The Mind Test) and some better organization in his section. When it becomes official, Ohmart's site is gonna be huge. Also added "God in a Can" from Arunas Statkus, "Report from the Capital of Czech Republic, 1994" and "Of Hard Luck and Harpies" to the C. Barry Slough section, and Morbus Iff got "Anna Who?" and "Green M&M's" added. Amongst all that adding of stuff, the code was also cleaned up a bit. DEVIL SHAT: was updated too. Along with adding two email to the twenty seventh issue (an abysmally low response for such an article), we, of course, released the twenty eighth issue. Morbus contributes "Something Stupid", which, in essence, means nothing important, and new writer Wil Forbis brings you "Please Let Me Kill You"... this is "us vs. them". GHOST SITES: was updated this week with a brand new issue (might large this time around, number 16) along with the loss of advertising. A couple of people were happy about that. And so was Bif, the chirpy elf in Santa's Mailroom. Yeah, we know. DETERGENT: was updated this week with a number of improvements or changes. We added a history of Disobey and everything that preceded it to the Disobey page, as well as a longer "about" of Morbus. The downloadable quote set for the Macintosh program StartupQuote was also updated this week, matching the main quote script with 360 quotes (if you want a PC quote script made, just tell us the name of the program and where we can get it from). The Site Awards page was changed into Received Kudos as we added everywhere Disobey has been mentioned into that section. Also, the Sheep movie was noted as being the Cruel Site of the Day. Hopefully, we'll be able to keep up with one new section a month, starting in June. We have the next four months planned, it's just a matter of getting them out. MINOR UPDATES: The front page was changed a bit to make some more sense with the "when updated" date... and we also changed a site wide error where we used spaces instead of %20 in the mailto: code. You'll know what we are talking about if you have done some coding before. . . . : ; EVERYTHING else and it's because i stink KICK ASS MOVIE SALE: Three movies for twenty bucks at my favorite rental place... so what did I get? But wait! Not only did I get three new movies but the guy also gave me a great deal on the purchase. It should have been $27 (since I had picked two used, and one new movie), but after him and hawing over what movie I didn't want but could get, he decided to screw it, and gave the three to me for $20. That's damn cool. Anyways, what did I get? Child's Play (yeah, I know, but come on, Bride of Chucky?) Mother's Day (some weirdo movie of a mother ordering her son to torture captured women) and Vampire Bat (a 1933 Hammer rip-off). SHUT UP: I added a new signature. How exciting. WOW! WHAT A GREAT IDEA: One of the banes of updating a large website such as Disobey is keeping track of what pages you have updated, and then uploading them all. Well, ever since August of last year, we had to keep track of just that: what page we modified, and then manually uploading those pages. Well, we got a great piece of software that does that automatically... it saves us about 15 minutes of time everyday. It's great stuff. OOOHH. WHAT A SPEED INCREASE: Welp, I traded in my old 28.8 for a 33.6 today. That was about ten minutes ago. I don't even know if it's any faster (or seems to be... hehe). Not that that 5k is gonna make that huge of a difference anyways. Ah twell. . . . : ; BLAHBLAHS OF THE WEEK: ( may 22nd - june 4th ) [Suckass-Movie-of-the-Week]-= Godzilla ---If at any time, Japan wanted to drop the bomb on us, now would be ---perfect. We ruined Godzilla horribly. And not only that, but we ---are planning to make it a franchise. Sometimes, I don't want to be ---a "we". Damn Americans screw everything up. [Video-Game-Ending-of-the-Week]-= 1942 ---Not because it is a cool ending (it consisted of the word ---"congratulation" [sic] being written to the screen), but because ---it's the first video game I actually sat down to win in a while. ---It just happened to be in the Nintendo at my fiancee's house. [Cool-Radio-Show-of-the-Week]-= Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy ---Damn well done. If you can find it, get it. Written by Douglas ---Adams, there are 5 or 6 episodes averaging about half an hour. [What-The-Hell-of-the-Week]-= Tornado Watch in ??? ---Can you believe it? Tornada Watch in New Hampshire for about ---six or so hours. Supposedly a tornado touched down on I-93. ---Uh huh. Just the kind of backwards weather you can expect. [Movies-I-Watched-of-the-Week]-= Only Two ---Corbin Bensen as The Dentist: waaaay too long of a movie. ---The Dark Half: only got about half way through it. Haha. Man, I'm ---funny. . . . : ; The Issue Was Soaked In Dawn . . . : ; SUBSCRIBE: majordomo@disobey.com BODY: Subscribe ChicosGroove . . . : ; UNSUBSCRIBE: majordomo@disobey.com BODY: Unsubscribe ChicosGroove
