Changed the images for Issues Twenty and Twenty One. Also cleaned up the main page, and shortened the back issue listing because it was just getting two damn big. We also added a happy Devil Shat "specials" section. From there, you can read the Devil's Dictionary (which as we build upon it) will be current of every issue, and also view the entire collection of every Devil's Dump that we have published. We also added update links throughout the back issues. If (for example) in Issue Eight, we talked about Tamagotchi's, then at the end of that article, there will be a convenient link to Devil Shat Eighteen where we continue with the latest news... all part of the premise we call the "Evolving Zine". Sure, it sounds stupid, but it works. COLLECTED WORKS GETS SOME MORE: Along with correcting an annoying error about not closing my HTML tags (stupid, stupid me!), two stories were added to C. Barry Slough's section: "What is Pussy Galore, Alex?" and "The Six to Three Shift". You gotta read em. You also might be happy to know that we added a new author: Arunas Statkus. Remember the Petit Mal stories from C. Barry Slough? (If you haven't, go read them, dammit.) Well, Arunas writes Petit Mal stories too. And they are good. And finally, we clarified what we were looking for for the Collected Works. If you have some weird little creations you want the world to see, feel free to send them to us... perhaps you'll be right for the section. NEW DEVIL SHAT WAY DOWN HERE: Let's see... it's a three article issue with a nifty image this time around. We talk about "Why Image is a Photograph", if God cares if it is a plain cake or a Valentine's case, and why G. Nih Ton wants to be notorious. It's a pretty varied issue. ALSO, HEY! A NEW SDM: It's the all female issue. No men. It's really good. Go read it. MINOR UPDATES: quote script is bulked up to 234 entries (with spiffy new online submittal form!), we changed our Disobey Info page (in the Detergent section) around some (kinda unnoticable, but it is there), changed the directory structure around in Detergent (do you really care about this junk?), added an image of our 10,004th hit on our counter (in that damned Detergent section), . . . : ; EVERYTHING else and things that are esoteric UPDATED EVERY WEEKDAY: See, the neat thing about having so much varied content on Disobey is because we can promise you that we will be updated every single weekday (and most of the time on the weekend too). One of the most notable things that you will be able to find that is updated all the time is Socially Deranged Mentality's Temporal Dysfunction. Just go to the main SDM page (http://www.disobey.com/sdm/) and you'll be able to read the newest junk from them. PROBLEM SOLVED: One of the most annoying problems Disobey has been having recently was converting Macintosh text files to PC format. We had a work-around solution: send them to yourself and receive them on your PC and play with em there, but after 5 consecutive hours playing with it (ending at 6 o'clock in the morning) we finally found a way to do it with no hassel. It made us really happy and let us finally breath a little easier. Not anything big, we just like overcoming problems. EYESTRAIN, 2.8 GIGS: Morbus collects Quicktime movies, and with this latest burn of a CD, he now has a total of 2.8 gigs. That is a lot of movies. He's got such greats as the movie that caused the Japanese kids to get all seizurely, and about four different angles to the Bill Gates pie attack. And a bunch of other stuff. If you want a list of it, just send a message to morbus@disobey.com saying so. NEW COMPUTERS: 700 bucks gets us two computers this week... one for $22 postage (486) and a new PowerMac ($650 plus postage). Finally, we will be able to break into mp3s and RealVideo and Audio... something which has been much too long coming. . . . : ; BLAHBLAHS OF THE WEEK: ( feb 27th - mar 12th ) [Junk Food of the Week]--= Duplex Cremes ---Hey, shut up man, they were .50c for a package. ---They can grow on ya, you know. [Suck Ass Movie of the Week]--= Dark City ---Previews looked good. Premise of the movie was great. Idea was ---great. Imagery was great. Everything up to the climax was great. ---Then the movie started sucking. Hardcore. Horrible movie. [Soda of the Week]--= RC Cola ---Cos it got left in the fridge and somehow got all sticky ---so now everytime I try drinking from it, it gets me all ---sticky and I have to go wash my hands. Sometimes I don't. [HaHa of the Week]--= TROOPS movie ---This thing is really funny. Sure, it's 70+ megs, but ---it's hilarious.
