Upgraded to Drupal 5.x
Tue, 2007-01-16 02:09 — Morbus Iff
If you're wondering why Disobey.com looks "AAHHHhHhh!", it's because I've recently upgraded to Drupal 5.0. Since I've so little time in the day, however, I'm doing it in baby steps, which means that every little mistake and "remaining TODO" is live and available for your amusement and scorn. Thus, the first "remaining TODO" is to, uh, actually rebuild my original theme. Until then, we're using the new (and awesome) Garland theme. More later, but if you notice anything egregiously broken (like content, since I wrote a quickie 15 line Flexinode to CCK script), certainly let me know.

Do you know any others who are dealing with the flexinode -> CCK migration and how they might be handling it?
I plan to post the quickie script I wrote last night sometime later today.
That would be great! Thanks!
Don't you want to have captcha on here?
Nope. CAPTCHA is crap. See http://disobey.com/node/1632.
I use spam.module + inactive_user.module and they work just fine.
'Course, they still need to be upgraded to 5.x, but no worries.
It looks like I won't get around to posting the flexinode to CCK script tonight
- I'm focused on upgrading spam.module to Drupal 5.x. Sometime later.
So, uh, Brian, during testing of the spam.module, I ended up deleting your comments accidentally. Since I ran out of time to actually finish up the spam.module conversion, I've now taken the path of least resistance: yes, I'm using akismet now. We'll show how it goes, eh?
Any update on the flexinode to CCK mod?
